Is there Copper in AFA?

Yes.   Copper is a trace mineral.  Meaning it is in very small amounts.  Because it is one of many trace minerals found in AFA algae, we do know in general it will be a minimal trace amount, meaning less than 1 ppm (part per million.)  We have tested for copper periodically.  Unfortunately, because we’d have to do bioassays on every batch in order to state an exact number, the costs of these ongoing tests would make the product prohibitively expensive.
Trace minerals are essential minerals that the body requires in very small amounts (usually less than 100 milligrams per day.) Despite being needed in small quantities, these minerals play crucial roles in various physiological processes.
